Snows Down Low is a Christian snow goose outfitter based in Southeast Nebraska. We’re grateful for the opportunity to offer guided conservation hunts that combine a passion for the outdoors with faith, stewardship, and fellowship.

We believe in responsibly enjoying God’s creation while respecting the land, wildlife, and one another. Our hunts are designed to balance comfort, quality, and value, while creating an environment that is welcoming to hunters of all ages and experience levels. Families and first-time hunters are always welcome.

The Snows Down Low Experience

Our hunts feature:

• Comfortable heated blinds
• Large spreads of high-quality decoys
• Custom-built motion decoys
• State-of-the-art electronic calling systems
• A relaxed, safe, and well-organized field setup

We are located between Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge and Central Nebraska’s Rainwater Basin, placing us in a consistent migration corridor with minimal hunting pressure.

Our experienced guides prioritize safety, ethical hunting practices, and respect for the land. Each hunt begins with a brief prayer, giving thanks for the day and asking for safety and guidance.

Hunt Rates & Packages

2026 Season Dates

• Season opens February 10
• We will hunt as early as conditions allow, typically beginning around mid-to-late February
• Hunts generally run through mid-March, weather and migration dependent

Returning hunters receive priority access before dates are released publicly.

$300 per hunter, per day

Multi-Day Hunt Packages

3-Day Hunt
$850 total
A solid option for groups looking to experience the conservation season with a shorter stay.

Includes:

• Priority scheduling
• Pre-hunt merch access

4-Day Hunt
$1,100 total
Our most popular option, offering flexibility across changing weather and migration conditions.

Includes:

• Priority scheduling
• Pre-hunt merch access
• $50 merch credit per hunter on pre-ordered gear

5-Day Hunt
$1,350 total
Best value for serious groups. Longer stays allow us to adapt daily based on conditions and bird movement.

Includes:

• Priority scheduling
• Pre-hunt merch access
• $100 merch credit per hunter
• Access to limited or package-only merch when available

Group Size Information

• Group size: 1–8 hunters
• Eight hunters constitutes a private blind
• For groups booking three or more consecutive days, additional value is built into packages based on group size
• Large groups receive priority placement when available

Pre-Hunt Merch Program

All booked hunters receive:

• 20% off Snows Down Low merch ordered prior to the hunt
• Orders are prepared in advance and ready for pickup upon arrival

For 4- and 5-day packages, included merch credits are applied automatically.

• Credits are applied after pre-hunt pricing
• Pre-hunt orders only
• Credits have no cash value and expire at hunt start

Additional Details

Shotgun Rental
$75 per day (semi-automatic 12-gauge)

Meals

• Hot breakfast served in the blind
• Lunch may be a warm meal in the blind, a break at the shop, or a local restaurant

Lodging
Not included. Lodging is available in and around Beatrice, NE.

2026 Nebraska License Requirements

Resident

• Small Game + Waterfowl: $20

Non-Resident

• 2-Day Small Game + Waterfowl: $89
• Annual Small Game + Waterfowl: $128
  (Recommended for 3-day hunts or longer)

Additional Requirements:

• Habitat Stamp: $25
• Waterfowl Stamp: $10
• HIP Registration (required)

The deposit is non-refundable.

Deposits secure dates and prevent those dates from being offered to other hunters.

Hunts may be rescheduled due to weather, migration conditions, land access, or other unforeseen circumstances, subject to availability.

Deposits are not refunded in the event of rescheduling, cancellation, or no-show.

If rescheduling is necessary, the deposit will be applied to a future hunt during the same season or a mutually agreed-upon date, when possible.
